Friday, 27 August, at 6 pm:30 min, my phone biped. A notification?

I have just finished a long period of work on a personal project from 10 Am to 5 Pm. Exhausted as I was, I decided to chill a bit watching music videos on YouTube. That is exactly what I was doing when it biped.

Aargh what again? I asked myself. After being hesitant for about 10s, I finally took a look at my phone. It read: work 15 hrs A week Earning 6 figures- is it possible?

Stop! Think, 15 hours? Wait, what? Is that possible?

First of all, a notification from Club house, Guest room Rich Webster, I don’t know him! Host by Chris Do! Sure I trust them already. Totally Up for it! Let’s extend the chilling by learning something!

Wrap my things up, took a shower. Hmmm I felt fresh!Sweat short, sitting on my pouffe or something I call that. 7 pm! I’m good.Open clubhouse, Open Notebook, here we go!

5 Things you must Do if you want to start working less and earning more as a creative entrepreneur.

How to Earn 6 figures working 15 hours a week?

For you to be able to earn 6 figures working 15 hours a week Rich Webster(a designer owner of a six figures agency) said you need to consider three things :

  • Business design : How you structure our work
  • Your Personal productivity:
  • Tracking time What you’re doing with your time.

Structure your Business.

You need to find your specialization. Second, identify which action provides you more values and then work with leads that are interested in working with you for your expertise.

Stop writing proposals and RFP (request for proposals)

Replace your proposals by conversation.

  • At the end of your meeting, what you don’t want to hear is Go and send me your proposals.
  • At the end of the meeting the next step is to sign a contract containing the proposals. Said Rich Webster.

Get your client to commit with 5 % of the cost of the contract. After that what the client gets is discovering, and strategy and you’re not working for free.

No pitching

. Don’t give away strategy for free.

. Don’t give your brain work for free.

Learn to be productive.

Reduce the time you spend on your mail.

Check your email two times a day, use Directing replying and unsubscribe and delete the unnecessary emails.

Track your time.

Try understanding how you spend your time.

There are a lot of categories of time: time spent on communication, on social media, time spent writing proposals, on call, with families etc. Track your time for one week (be transparent with yourself), figure out what you’re spending your time on and write it down.

What will you learn? How much time you’re spending on everything. Make a list of three things you can do to change and take action.

Learn to say no.

For you to be able to do that you have to tell people how you want to communicate with them. And delegate things you’re good at.

You can do anything, but you can’t do everything.

To wrap up:

  • Structure your Business
  • Stop writing proposals and RFP (request for proposals)
  • No pitching
  • Be productive
  • Track your time.

Those rooms on Clubhouse can be very insightful. Especially those from the Futur Group directed by Chris Do and I enjoy listening them.

Hope you learn something!

Those are my notes from the clubhouse room.
